Quality Controller
Pan United are looking for a dynamic individual to help it on its journey towards maintaining our BRC culture, and organic accreditation, and in doing so expand its portfolio of customer sectors.
Quality Controller
This person needs to be a proactive individual that has a deep understanding or willingness to understand the business, their role as a Quality Assurance Specialist and the nature of the industry.
In doing so, they will be reviewing quality standards on site, assist with technical enquiries, and specification approvals, constant reporting to management areas of potential improvement where we can go beyond legal requirements.
They will also be involved in ensuring the high-quality standards of the company are communicated across its global offices and supply chain. This will give them a key instrumental role in helping the business expand further both in the UK and the EU.
As the ideal candidate for this role, they will be a Graduate with a Degree within Food Science or related subject and have relevant Technical experience within the food industries. It is essential that they have worked with and a sound understanding of retailer online specification systems.
Core responsibilities
- Maintain the Food Safety Culture in the company.
- Maintenance of protocols within the company.
- Maintain Supplier Database.
- Day-to-day activities
- Qc review.
- Label approval.
- Communication with suppliers and 3rd party’s companies.
- Claim review and management.
- Root Cause Analysis.
- Continuous monitoring of stock shelf life and quality.
- Supplier approval.
